Summer Session 2023
July 16-22, 2023
THIS YEAR INCLUDES AN EXTRA DAY!!!
Overnight campers arrive Sunday evening, July 16th and stay until Saturday morning, July 22.
CAMP INFO:
Ages 7 and up
THIS IS AN OUTDOOR CAMPING EVENT!
Due to water concerns in California and the nature of the facility, water usage must be kept to a minimum.
Indoor instrument storage will be available in the Yurt.
We follow all COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
There is limited plumbing on site and bathroom facilities will be limited to portable toilets and outdoor showers.
This is a small, grass-roots family camp.
All students will be required to do at least two 2-hour volunteer shifts throughout the week.
Again, if you are planning to camp please remember: although Commonweal gardens is stunningly beautiful, it is a very rustic, and primitive environment. You’re basically camping for a week with limited facilities, (portapotties and outdoor showers with limited hot water) so if that is not your style we recommend you get accommodations nearby and sign up as a day camper!
Fees:
Summer Session 2023 Overnight Camper
$975 for overnight campers (includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, workshops Monday - Friday & camping Sunday evening until Saturday morning).
Due to size limitations, overnight campers under age 18 must have a paying supervising guardian on site, whom of course will be welcome to take classes as well!
Summer Session 2023 Full-day Camper
$775 Includes afternoon/evening programming lunch + dinner. No camping.
Summer Session 2023 Day-Camper
$675 for day campers, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday-Friday (includes lunch)
Refund Policy:
Individuals who withdraw from the camp after submitting payment are entitled to refunds based on the following schedule:
Before June 16, 2023 (one month ahead of camp)
— Full refund minus $100 processing fee
On or after June 15th, 2023 (one month before camp)
— No refund available
This schedule allows us to make necessary purchases and plan accurately for camp based on firm numbers. One month out we may still be able to fill cancelled registrations but that becomes harder closer to camp. Thank you for your understanding.
If West Marin Fiddle Camp should cancel due to natural causes, participants will receive credit towards rescheduled event. If you can not participate during rescheduled time, refunds will be available minus $100 processing fee.
